Location: Remote (Mexico-based)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer based in Mexico to join our engineering team and take ownership of our infrastructure and developer tooling. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives to optimize CI/CD workflows, improve observability, and ensure our systems are scalable and efficient. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with engineers across the stack and have a direct impact on how we build, test, and ship software.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve our CI/CD systems (Jenkins) to improve reliability, speed, and transparency for engineering teams.
  • Partner with developers (Ruby and React) to design infrastructure and workflows that empower them to ship faster and with confidence.
  • Manage and improve our AWS-based infrastructure, focusing on security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Integrate and scale our Playwright-based E2E test suites into CI pipelines to catch regressions earlier.
  • Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability using Sentry, Kibana, and AWS tools to reduce time to detection and resolution.
  • Work with the data team to support Redshift reliability and performance, and automate related operational tasks.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce toil, simplify deployment processes, and introduce automation.
  • Champion DevOps best practices across the company and mentor others on modern infrastructure and release practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience, ideally at a SaaS company.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPCs).
  • Proficiency with Jenkins and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Experience with SQL and basic understanding of data warehouse performance, preferably Redshift.
  • Familiarity with frontend and backend deployment workflows (React and Ruby experience a plus).
  • Solid understanding of observability, monitoring, and logging (e.g., Sentry, Kibana, CloudWatch).
  • A strong sense of ownership and leadership—you take initiative, drive projects forward, and improve systems without waiting to be asked.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach—you’ll work closely with engineers across multiple functions and time zones.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A high-impact role with autonomy and ownership from day one.
  • A supportive and collaborative team that values initiative and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible remote work culture.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
