Vice President, Marketing (San Francisco/Bay Area)

Description

As our Vice President Marketing, you will lead the function and team reporting to the CEO. You are a growth marketer responsible for strategy, messaging, digital, demand creation, field marketing, customer marketing and PR/AR. You’re resourceful and scrappy. You have experience building new SaaS B2B categories and you have direct experience with sales tech enterprise software marketing. You’re passionate about boosting sales productivity with sales enablement. You have a proven track record accelerating pipeline growth across the entire buyer’s journey including customer marketing. You will define and execute SalesHood’s marketing strategy across all channels.

Responsibility

  • Work closely with the CEO to build and maintain a highly differentiated brand identity and messaging that resonates with our ICP and target audience.
  • Develop and execute marketing and demand creations strategies to dramatically increase pipeline for customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute effective digital marketing campaigns, including website, email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing for top, middle and bottom of the funnel.
  • Oversee a best-in-class social, digital, SEO web and website presence that drives awareness, engagement, purchase and referrals.
  • Manage the PR/AR strategy and engage with top influencers.
  • Develop a strategy to work with sales to execute and run campaigns helping to create demand and contribute to sales quota attainment.
  • Work with product management to plan, create, and launch creative campaigns and compelling stories around SalesHood’s technology announcements and platform releases.
  • Establish KPIs for all marketing programs to track performance against expected business outcomes.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in marketing or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in related industry
  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience
  • Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • Experience in building brand awareness and recognition
  • You are a reputable marketing leader and an effective public speaker
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • You are entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • You are creative and innovative
  • You are customer-centric and can identify and meet customer needs
  • You have experience working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are in line with company objectives
  • Ability to tie marketing investment & performance to sales pipeline results
  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress and ABM
